About Kelli

Kelli is the founder and owner of Ideal Property Investments.

An Iowa native, Kelli comes from a long line of entrepreneurs who made their names farming the fields of north central Iowa. Her work ethic is farm-girl strong, as she learned the value of hard work from her parents and grandparents who worked the land. Growing up as an only child, she spent many hours playing house in the barn, turning the picnic table into a fort, and constantly rearranging the furniture in her room, so it was clear that real estate was going to be a part of her future. The desire to build, create and grow something is as much a part of her DNA as is her eye color.

Just out of high school, Kelli moved to the Twin Cities where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas. While carrying a full class schedule, she also worked full-time as a Corporate Accountant. Kelli loves a good spreadsheet, especially when it balances!

Kelli’s love for numbers coupled with her evolving passion for real estate inevitably merged when she invested in her very first rental property 20 years ago. She has since gained valuable experience buying, managing and selling several investment properties, and she found it only natural to obtain her real estate license and open IDEAL Property Investments. Since then, she has assisted hundreds of clients who have benefited from The IDEAL Approach.

Kelli’s interests, passions, knowledge and experience have all blended to create a company that provides her clients with a service that mirrors her own personal experience in rental property investment management.

Kelli is also passionate about animals and is a proud pup parent to Marley. She has made it her mission to change people’s misconceptions about bully-breed dogs.

Kelli loves 3s and balls (circles, polka dots, bubbles, round things…whatever you’d like to call them), so it’s no surprise that she runs a 3-tier business and is NOT square, whatsoever (pun intended)!

Whether it was playing house in the barn, turning the picnic table into a fort, or constantly rearranging the furniture in her room, it was clear from an early age that real estate was going to be a part of her future.
